Skalpel - So Far

Skalpel are DJs / musicians Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudło from Wrocław in Poland. After releasing a demo entitled Polish Jazz in 2000, they were picked up by the UK independent record label, Ninja Tune which has a brilliant stable of musicians such as Amon Tobin, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Blockhead, Coldcut, Jaga Jazzist, Kid Koala, Roots Manuva & Sixtoo.

Skalpel's musical style is a distinctive blend of hip hop beats, laced with samples lifted from the rich seam of Polish jazz records of the 1960s and 1970s reimagined it for 21st century audiophiles. Visual Art Studio's Rafael Janus created these visuals for their track 'So Far'
